Klungkung Heritage Festival 2026 takes place on 10–11 October in Semarapura, around the historic Kertha Gosa royal court and Taman Gili water palace.
The festival celebrates Klungkung’s royal and artistic heritage with classical and sacred Balinese dance, gamelan, theatrical performances, cultural processions and craft exhibitions. Special attention is given to Kamasan wayang painting, a tradition strongly associated with Klungkung.
The main public festival programme is free. The Kertha Gosa and Taman Gili complex may charge its usual entrance fee. Performance times can change, so check the local programme before travelling.
