10 Bali Beach Clubs: Where to Go for Sunsets, Pools and Parties

10 Bali Beach Clubs: Where to Go for Sunsets, Pools and Parties

One Bali beach club turns an oceanfront lunch into an evening with a DJ. Another offers a full day on the sand beneath a cliff. A third sits high above the water, with swimming limited to its pools. Choose according to the day you want to have, not just the number of beautiful photos.

This guide covers ten clubs in Seminyak, Batu Belig, Canggu and the Bukit Peninsula. Each has its own photograph, an explanation of the experience and important visiting conditions. The numbering is for navigation, not a ranking. Information was checked against official websites on 2 October 2026; prices, programmes and rules can change.

Seminyak and Batu Belig: sunsets, design and long lunches

1. Potato Head — oceanfront architecture and music

Potato Head is part of Desa Potato Head on Jalan Petitenget, 51B. Its curved façade of timber shutters makes it immediately recognisable: architecture is a substantial part of the experience, with a pool, lawn and ocean beyond.

Consider it when you want daytime lounging, food and a music programme in one place. Spend a few hours by the pool, then stay for sunset. The wider complex also has other restaurants and cultural spaces, so decide whether you specifically want a beach club daybed or a separate dinner table.

Book your preferred spot through the official website and check walk-in availability for your date. Concerts and special events affect both the atmosphere and entry conditions. Tax and service are listed separately on the menu, so include them in your final budget.

2. KU DE TA — sunset with a focus on dinner

KU DE TA: sunset over the oceanfront lounge. Photo: KU DE TA.

Photograph source: KU DE TA.

KU DE TA sits beside Seminyak Beach on Jalan Kayu Aya, 9. It has a pool, daybeds and several lounge areas, but its restaurant and an oceanfront table can be reason enough to visit.

Choose it for catching up with friends, dinner for two or an evening beginning at sunset. You do not need to spend the whole day here: explore Seminyak first, then arrive for a planned reservation. Music events can make the evening considerably livelier.

The booking system distinguishes Daybed, Garden Lounge, Sunset Box and Fidel Terrace. Confirm exactly what your reservation secures, its guest capacity and spending conditions. A restaurant table and a daybed offer different experiences; check the events calendar separately.

3. Café del Mar Bali — a spacious Mediterranean-style pool

Café del Mar is on Jalan Subak Sari by the Batu Belig coastline. White buildings, a large pool and round seating areas in the water give it a distinctly different look from Canggu’s timber clubs.

It suits a day centred on the pool and comfortable group seating. The official website lists pool and grass daybeds, Pool Booths and separate suites. These do not offer the same level of privacy: inspect their position and capacity before choosing.

Booking terms depend partly on arrival time: arriving after 3pm with an early reservation can increase the minimum spend. Children are accommodated except at special events and require supervision. Prepayment and rain do not mean an automatic refund; read Venue Policy before paying.

4. Mari Beach Club — bamboo and a pool at Batu Belig

Mari is on Jalan Batu Belig, 66, between Seminyak and Berawa. Curving bamboo structures are its defining architectural feature, with daybeds and coastal-view lounge spaces arranged around the pool.

Consider Mari for a long lunch, daytime pool swimming and an oceanfront evening. The architecture is worth looking at as well as the water. It offers a different visual experience from Café del Mar’s white terraces or Atlas’s large stage, although quiet cannot be promised on event days.

Reserved seating uses a prepaid minimum spend that varies by area. Current terms include separate conditions for children and accompanying carers, as well as restrictions on refunds and payment transfers. For a family visit, provide children’s ages and the full party size to obtain an accurate total.

Canggu: from a big dance floor to a daybed beside the waves

5. FINNS Beach Club — a day built around the party

FINNS Beach Club: pools beside Berawa Beach. Photo: FINNS Beach Club.

FINNS stands on Berawa Beach on Jalan Pantai Berawa. Pools, bars, a music programme and multiple party zones form a large complex designed for socialising and activity rather than secluded reading.

It is an option for a busy group day moving from swimming to DJ sets and sunset beside the beach. Reserve a specific zone, not just the club: proximity to music, daybed placement and service format influence the experience.

The official website advertises free entry, but that does not mean a free daybed or no minimum spend. FINNS admits guests aged 16 and over; young children cannot enter. Entry requires a valid original photo ID. Check special-event conditions and those of your selected seat separately.

Official website and current conditions: FINNS Beach Club · Visiting conditions.

6. Atlas Beach Club — shows and larger groups

Atlas Beach Club: an evening stage show. Photo: Atlas Beach Club.

Atlas is in Berawa on Jalan Pantai Berawa, 88. Its format combines a pool, stage, shows and several seating zones, with beanbags on the beach. Do not confuse the daytime Beach Club with the separate Atlas Super Club.

Consider it for a celebration or a group wanting a substantial entertainment element. The Deck, Deck Side, Pool Side and Party Side differ in both outlook and proximity to the action. Seat selection matters particularly when some guests want to talk and others want to be near the stage.

The current FAQ specifies 16+, although old family policies still circulate online. General admission is paid, and daybeds and sofas have a minimum spend. The reservation amount is not entirely redeemable against food and drinks because there is a booking fee. Bring booking confirmation and valid ID.

7. La Brisa — timber, palms and an Echo Beach evening

La Brisa: palms and the Echo Beach terrace. Photo: La Brisa.

Photograph source: La Brisa.

La Brisa is on Echo Beach by Jalan Pantai Batu Mejan. Reclaimed fishing-boat timber, palms, woven details and tiered spaces create a very different setting from large white pools and stages.

Choose it for oceanfront lounging, lunch and sunset surrounded by natural materials. Distinguish poolside seats from ocean-view seats when booking: they offer different experiences. A Sunday market can also become part of your outing.

According to the FAQ, reservations can be made in advance but not on the day of the visit; walk-in seating is subject to availability. Children are welcome and there is a shallow pool, but supervision is essential. Special parties may have separate age rules. Do not assume ordinary daytime terms apply to a ticketed event.

Official website and current conditions: La Brisa · Visiting conditions.

8. The Lawn Canggu — a daybed overlooking a surf beach

The Lawn Canggu: ocean-view lounge seating. Photo: The Lawn Canggu.
The Lawn Canggu: ocean-view lounge seating. Photo: The Lawn Canggu.

Photograph source: The Lawn Canggu.

The Lawn is beside Batu Bolong on Jalan Pura Dalem in Canggu. Daybeds, an oceanfront pool and open views of the waves let you watch surfers without leaving the club.

It is an option for lunch, pool time and an evening by the water without choosing a large festival-style complex. Daytime can centre on a daybed, with dinner and music later. The actual day’s programme matters more than a promise of permanent calm: The Lawn also hosts substantial music events.

Book your preferred format through the official website and confirm minimum spend, capacity and how long a reserved spot is held. For children, confirm the policy for your chosen date separately. A view of surfing does not imply safe ocean swimming; choose the pool for a more controlled water setting.

Bukit: a beach below the cliff or a party above the ocean

9. Sundays Beach Club — a day on an actual beach

Sundays Beach Club: the beach beneath the Ungasan cliffs. Photo: The Ungasan / Sundays Beach Club.
Sundays Beach Club: the beach beneath the Ungasan cliffs. Photo: The Ungasan / Sundays Beach Club.

Sundays sits beneath the cliffs in Ungasan beside The Ungasan resort. Reach the sand by inclinator or stairs. This is a beach-and-lagoon experience rather than a pool club: a standard beach pass does not include the resort pool.

Go for sand, water and enough time to kayak, paddleboard or snorkel. Activities depend on tides, weather and lifeguard instructions. Music and bonfires feature in the evening, but the cliff shades the beach earlier, so arrive early for a sunny beach day.

At the time of checking, an adult Daily Beach Pass costs IDR 800,000, including IDR 500,000 in food and beverage credit. Children aged 5–11 pay IDR 400,000 with IDR 250,000 credit; under-fives enter free. Regular admission is first come, first served without advance booking; VIP spaces are booked separately. Check the rate and tide chart before travelling.

10. Savaya — electronic music high above the ocean

Savaya: poolside daybeds overlooking the ocean. Photo: Savaya.
Savaya: poolside daybeds overlooking the ocean. Photo: Savaya.

Photograph source: Savaya.

Savaya occupies a cliff in the Uluwatu area on Jalan Belimbing Sari. Pools, terraces and the distinctive Cube structure face the ocean, but there is no direct sandy-beach access. Planning a visit for beach swimming would be a mistake.

Choose the date around an artist or music event: this is a destination for electronic music, clifftop views and partying. Treat it as a standalone evening with a pre-arranged trip home, not a quick stop between beaches.

Entry is strictly 21+ and requires valid photo ID. A standard ticket mainly provides standing admission, not a guaranteed table; VIP reservations are separate. Buy tickets through the Megatix channel linked from the official website. Check the dress code too: athletic sportswear and beer-branded singlets are prohibited.

Official website and current conditions: Savaya · Visiting conditions.

Understand the budget before booking

Separate three charges: an entry ticket, a minimum spend for your seat and additional fees. Minimum spend generally means an amount you must spend on food and drinks, but not every payment is fully redeemable this way. Atlas, for example, has a booking fee, while part of a Sundays beach pass becomes dining credit.

Compare terms for your whole party, not just a “from” price. Ask how many guests the seat accommodates, which part of the payment is redeemable, and whether tax, service, towels, pool access and parking are included. Confirm arrival deadlines, cancellations, changes and rain policies. An early-arrival discount may no longer apply if you are late.

For families, check age restrictions before paying: FINNS and Atlas are 16+, Savaya is 21+. La Brisa, Café del Mar and Sundays have options for visits with children, but special events and supervision rules must be checked separately. Allowing children does not establish safe pool depth or replace constant supervision.

Do not try to visit all ten clubs in a couple of days. Choose one or two formats and allow time for traffic: proximity on a map does not guarantee a quick journey. Arrange your return after a party in advance. At the ocean, respect flags, surf conditions and lifeguard instructions; entering a club does not make the sea safe for swimming.

Where to start

For a first taste of Bali’s beach clubs, match the venue to your plan: Potato Head for design and music, KU DE TA for sunset and dinner, FINNS or Atlas for partying, and Sundays for a day on the sand. If timber and palms appeal more, look at La Brisa and Mari. A good choice fits your itinerary, your guests’ ages and a budget you understand.
