Uluwatu Temple

Pura Luhur Uluwatu stands on a limestone cliff about 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. It is an active Hindu temple; some inner areas are reserved for prayer and ceremonies.

Temple-area admission (Indonesia.travel rates): international visitors — adult IDR 60,000, child IDR 40,000; Indonesian domestic visitors — adult IDR 40,000, child IDR 30,000. Open daily, 07:00–19:00. The Kecak dance requires a separate ticket, not included in temple admission: adult IDR 150,000, children aged 2–9 IDR 75,000. The show runs 18:00–19:00, with entry to the performance area from 16:00.
