Goa Gajah is an archaeological and sacred heritage site in Desa Bedulu, Gianyar, near Ubud. Explore the rock-cut cave and its famous carved entrance, historic stonework, bathing pool and gardens. The site reflects Bali’s Hindu and Buddhist heritage; some areas remain places of worship.
Open daily, 08:00–17:00 WITA. Dress modestly, respect worshippers and signs, and follow local instructions. Official entrance tariff per person: Indonesian citizens — adult IDR 30,000, child IDR 15,000; foreign visitors — adult IDR 50,000, child IDR 25,000. The tariff does not define the child age range. Parking per visit: motorcycle IDR 2,000; car IDR 5,000.
The foreign-tourist levy is separate: IDR 150,000 per person for a Bali trip (exemptions apply); it is not a Goa Gajah ticket.
