Taman Ayun Temple

Pura Taman Ayun is the former royal temple of Mengwi, built in the 17th century. A broad moat surrounds the complex, while its gardens, three courtyards and tiered meru shrines show the distinctive layout of a Balinese temple. It remains a place of worship as well as a heritage attraction.

Visitors can enjoy the areas open to the public; access to inner sacred spaces may be restricted. Dress respectfully, follow posted guidance and do not interrupt ceremonies.
