Jatiluwih is a mountain village in Penebel, Tabanan, at about 685 m. Its terraced rice fields and traditional subak irrigation system form part of Bali’s cultural landscape on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Official rates: Indonesian citizens (WNI), Rp25,000 adult / Rp15,000 child; international visitors (WNA), Rp75,000 / Rp50,000. The child age limit is not published; check at the ticket office. Rates may change.
The village has walking trails through fields and forest, plus cycling routes. Tours, bike hire and some activities may cost extra; confirm the programme and price in advance.
Stay on marked paths, keep out of planted fields, and do not damage subak channels. These are working fields and a shared water system: do not disturb farmers and respect local customs.
